Michelle & James had so much fun on their wedding day. They were married in the LDS temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her ivory, modest, gown with textured skirt was perfect for her personality.

Kate & Matt are BYU students who wanted to marry in sunny California. I was happy to be there for them at the LDS Temple in San Diego. A partly cloudy day provided some variety in the lighting and it was beautiful. When I was told they were having their reception in her parents backyard in Barstow, CA I thought, ok I can totally work with some desert, but I had no idea to expect the view! OMG a clear, uninterrupted shot of the GORGEOUS sky and that sunset. Took my breath away. They may have given me one of my favorite first dance images ever! A dramatic sunset, twinkle lights, and twirling in a beautiful A-line, natural waist gown. Fantastic! Congrats guys!
Here is Kim and Josh! I haven’t had the privilege of shooting at the LDS Temple in Bountiful, Utah yet and it was so fun having the beautiful grounds and something I haven’t done before. Great looking couple, gorgeous sky, and the Canterberry was a fantastic venue. Congrats guys!
Sandra and Blaine were married at the LDS Temple in Salt Lake on a chilly May morning. Sandra wouldn’t let her wheelchair stand in her way of being a beautiful and completely glowing bride. Everyone at this event was so cheerful and happy to be there. They had their reception at the Manderley in Provo. I came up with the butterfly for the ring shot idea and the videographer (see their video) my friend Aaron Johnson, caught and placed it. We were really excited to make that work for the couple, especially since it matched their colors! And I have to admit it was one of the most touching first dances I’ve had the privilege to shoot. Congrats guys!
