Melissa & Tom had a fantastic wedding! They have been together for years and decided to have a great party to celebrate their love. They had so many details!!! With inspirations from UP, and older era of style and class, and a big blowout garden dance party with only their closest friends and family. Her gay best friend was her maid of honor and his sister was his best man. They weren’t afraid to mix things up and have them exactly as they wanted. Johnson Mill was FABULOUS! Seriously, top notch venue! Tiffany’s jewelry, wood ring and cuff links, a mini photo album inside a pocket watch for the father of the bride, peonies, lace, and red lipstick. The groom even made a giant JENGA set for everyone to play during the reception. And for their vows, Melissa made an UP inspired children’s book of their adventures, and Tom wrote a poem. These two didn’t miss any opportunity to make their wedding memorable. This was a pure joy to be a part of. Look for their Day After groomal session, coming soon to the blog!
