This is a really cute couple. I loved our shoot; they were more than happy to distract each other the entire time. The clouds and sun kept interchanging which made for an exposure challenge, but gave some lighting variety. And then a little more than half way through, the heavens opened up and poured on us! It was a good time! Here’s Jana and Nathan!

Continuing on with my Fairytale series and it was time to do Cinderella! My cousin, Emily, was the perfect pick for the role of the shoeless, run away princess. My mother did her hair, I did her make up, she borrowed my old homecoming dress and shoes I wore to my sisters wedding, and she seriously became the character. We spent the whole time running around Redlands University and had so much fun. Here’s some of the pics! 🙂
You can break the rules like exposure if you do it the right way for the right picture 🙂
So Old Hollywood!
Cinderella’s got sass!
Remembering my time at BYU-Idaho and all my classes, I decided that I wanted to start a series. I had a few ideas but decided to go forth with a fairytale/fantasy theme. I have a whole list of characters, people, locations, lighting, props, etc. I started with my friend Danielle as Snow White and took her pictures in the median of a random side street that I like here in Rancho Cucamonga. I’m pretty pleased with the result and can’t wait to continue working on this series! More to come!
