Lauren & Mark | San Diego Temple and Beach Wedding | Utah Wedding Photographer | Destination Wedding Photographer

Lauren & Mark live up here in Utah like me but they wanted a San Diego wedding, and I was happy to oblige! We spent a few minutes at the San Diego LDS Temple and then headed down to La Jolla Cove and it was beautiful! They had their reception in a tent put on the grounds at their local church.

Silver & Gold | Utah Styled Wedding Shoot | Salt Lake City Wedding Photographer

This styled editorial shoot was amazing. Leslie Dawn Events put together some gorgeous details off of Mallory Renee’s silver and gold inspiration. Silver and gold with a lot of lush greenery by Studio Stems made it totally pinterest pinable! The Bridal Closet provided the Gatsby inspired, backless gown. GORGEOUS! Maggie Sottero is a genius! Versa Artistry did the make up on this graceful, former ballerina. The light in a good indoor natural light studio is always on point, so thanks to The Loft Studio in Lehi, Utah. All these Salt Lake City and Park City vendors came together and the result was drool worthy! Photography by one of the best in Utah. That’s right, yours truly! Eric & Rudyko | San Diego Wedding | Utah Wedding Photographer

Eric is my cousin and when he and his bride, Rudyko, asked me to be their wedding photographer I was so happy. I flew out to California from Utah and not only did I get to hang with these awesome guys, but I got to do it on the beach! Yay! We headed to La Jolla Cove early in the morning for their first look, then to the San Diego LDS Temple, then on to Corona for the reception, where they had In-N-Out cater in memory of their first date. It was wonderful! And almost a year ago! I’m so behind on the blog! Happy anniversary you two!

Lauren and Eric | San Diego LDS Temple Wedding | Salt Lake City Wedding Photographer

I just love Lauren and Eric! I was really looking forward to this wedding since we took their engagements, and it really lived up to the anticipation! I flew out of Salt Lake City the night before the wedding and was able to get up nice and early and photograph the entire day starting at 5:30 A.M. It was an early start but totally worth it. The couple was LDS (or Mormon) and had the ceremony in the San Diego LDS Temple in La Jolla, California. This venue looked like and ice castle and made the beautiful, blonde bride look like Cinderella! For those who may not know, the things that take place in this temple are so sacred that not only could I not go in to take pictures, but Lauren’s family was unable to go in and witness. So we planned a little something special. The bride told me that her father had asked to drive her to the temple that morning so they could have some Father Daughter time and she would meet the groom inside. When she told me this, a light bulb went off. Instead of meeting him inside, we had Eric meet them just outside and we could have the “giving away the bride” and even “walking her down the isle” moment. I am so glad that we decided to do that because it really provided some beautiful and sweet pictures. This couple was such a pleasure to work with and I love the great wedding photography that came from their big day. Congrats to the Larsons!

Jana & Nathan | Rancho Cucamonga Engagements

This is a really cute couple. I loved our shoot; they were more than happy to distract each other the entire time. The clouds and sun kept interchanging which made for an exposure challenge, but gave some lighting variety. And then a little more than half way through, the heavens opened up and poured on us! It was a good time! Here’s Jana and Nathan!
